MEETING IN KATERINI

MONDAY 22
The first day! We all met at the hotel at 9:15. The bus led us to the City Hall. We visited the city's Mayor. After that, we arrived to the school. We had a visit of all the school. Then, we went to a big class. The Greek teachers gave us the cards with our names and the folders. We had lunch in the canteen. After lunch, 1:00 more or less, we went to the computers' room. The Greek teachers showed us their CLIL Lesson, about how to create a Bussiness Plan. It was about 30 minutes. Later, we presented our CLIL Lesson, creating apps. The students enjoyed it a lot! Next, we had a rest. Half an hour later, we saw the Greek students' presentation about ICT and education,, about 20 minutes. Then, the bus drove us to the hotel, or to the host families. We had free time until the next day, Tuesday. At night, the students and the teachers ( only the people that was staying in the hotel) have a greeting dinner at the hotel.

TUESDAY 23
This day was incredible. In the morning, we all met at the hotel and went to Thessaloniki. It is an important and very beautiful city. We visited the White Tower, a monument made by the Ottomans who served in prison. Then we went to visit the Church of St. Demetrius, the patron of Thessaloniki. Later we went to see the church known as La Rotonda of Galerius. Finally we were allowed free time (which we used to buy souvenirs) and returned to Katerini.

WEDNESDAY 24
As the previous days, we met at the hotel's reception at 09:00 a.m.
We went to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pieria, there they made a presentation about the economy in Katerini.
Later, we returned to Platon (school) and we received a few advices for our labor future.
In addition, the Lithuanian teachers made a CLIL Lesson about the lasers and the Polish teachers about the biotechnology, they were very interesting!
After lunch, it was our turn to make the presentation, we're a little nervous, but we made successfully, and our partners enjoyed the final game.
We also heard presentations of Bulgarian and Lithuanian team.
At 17:30 we were playing volleyball, we returned to the hotel or to our host families and we had free time the rest of the day.
It was a hard day but very productive!

THURSDAY 25
We met at the hotel's reception at 09:00 a.m.
We went to an archeological site and the guide showed and explained us some ancient ruins. Later, we got to some sort of amphitheater, we laid on the ground trying to recreate the Erasmus+ logo with the help pf the Polish team. The teachers took pictures of us and then we went to the bus.
We arrived in Litóchoro, a small village close to the mount Olympus. The Greek teacher led us through the mountain. We walked on a paved flat road so it wasn't very difficult. We took a lot of photos (and selfies) next to a waterfall and then we returned to Litóchoro.
We took a break to have lunch all together in a resturant and then our teachers gave us free-time to explore the village by ourselves.
At 16:00 p.m. we went to the town hall because it was the meeting point. There was a surprise waiting for us in a nearby park so we walked towards there and sat. There was a stage with some people performing typical Greek dances. Then we stood up and joined them. Like an hour later or so, we returned to the hotel and had free time the rest of the day.

Is the last day! Some students (the students were in host families) arrived at school at 8:30. They were at school and they were in the class with the Greek students.
At 10:00 a.m all students and teachers met.
We were at school and we did some presentations. First the Romanian team did the CLIL lesson about the new technologies, this presentation it was about 20 minuts.
After, the Bulgaria team did the CLIL lesson about the new technologies this presentation it was about 20 minuts too.
They were very interesting!
At 12:30 we went to the canteen, and all countries eaten here.
After we continued the students' presentation. The Romanian team and Bulgaria team.
About 14:15 the students in host families went at home and the others went to the hotel.
All people had free time in the evening.
All students were sad because we knew that this is the final of this trip... But we were very happy because this week it was fantastic and the people were very nice and fun. We did a lot of friends and we can't forget this experiencie with people from others countries. This experiencie it was amazing!
